Beth Jarman, Principal.

Beth is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) and Nationally Accredited Mediator (AMDRAS). Beth trained and acted as an Independent Children’s Lawyer for 22 years. With 38 years of post-admission experience across both private practice and government roles, she brings expertise and compassion to her work.

Following her admission Beth worked in private practice for seven years in a wide area of law including insurance, general civil and commercial litigation, family law, property and wills and estates. Beth appeared in many courts including The Supreme Court of NSW, District and Local Courts, Workers compensation and The Family Court. In 1994, Beth began to work solely in the area of Family Law.

As an Accredited Family Law Specialist since 2001 and a trained Independent Children’s Lawyer, Beth is well-versed in navigating complex family dynamics with sensitivity and clarity. Her background includes experience in all types of complex parenting and property matters and dispute resolution processes aimed at reducing conflict and promoting sustainable agreements. In 2004Beth worked as a Deputy Registrar of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia conducting Case Assessment Conferences and Conciliation Conferences.

Since 2014 Beth worked in the Sydney Family Law team of a National Law Firm and was appointed as Special Counsel to this firm in 2017.

Beth’s approach is calm, balanced, and deeply informed by her experience working exclusively in the area of Family Law for over 30 years. Beth holds a commitment to fairness and the wellbeing of all parties involved—particularly children. She is dedicated to helping families move forward with dignity and respect to avoid the cost and rigours of Court.
